3 ClubD Participates in GIS, the Golf Services Industry’s Largest Exhibition 2020-02-03
ClubD participates in the Golf Industry Show 2020, the world’s largest golf show.
Representatives from YIDO’s golf branch ClubD participated in the Golf Industry Show (GIS), hosted by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), which was held in the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, FL from January 26 to 30.

At the GIS 2020, various training, conferences and luncheon events were held to facilitate building networks between global industry representatives.

ClubD was invited to participate in the GIS by the top turf management equipment company, TORO (USA). General Director Park Hyun Joon and Managing Director Yoo Hyun So travelled to Orlando to meet with industry leaders to learn about the latest developments in the industry.

ClubD plans to learn from international industry leaders to provide a higher level of service at our courses at Boeun, Songnisan and Geumgang.

GIS 2021 will be held on January 30 to February 4 at the Las Vegas convention center
 
GCSAA is the predecessor of the National Association of Greenkeepers of America (NAGA), founded in 1926 by 60 American green keepers.
The organization now provides golf course management education and representation for over 19,000 members in 72 countries.

GCSAA classifies members into tiers, from SM (Superintendent Member), Class A (Assistant Superintendent), Student Member and International Member. Earning recognition as a ‘Certified Golf Course Superintendent’ status gives us pride and various benefits within the GCSAA.
